Public Service Announcement

Let me share with you one of the most useful, magical website in all of the Interwebz. Snopes. This omnipotent website tracks urban legends. When you receive an email that has two pages of forwards on it (because clearly the use of blind carbon copy is as foreign a concept to them as snopes) before you even get to the nonsense they want you to read, rest assured that the person that sent it to you does not know of the magical Snopes. If they did, they wouldn’t have forwarded you that email about which companies buy gas from which foreign nations. They would have simply hit the delete button on that email that said Bill Gates was going to hand over his fortune and the keys to the corner office at Microsoft because you simply hit the forward button and sent said email to 50 of your closest friends.

So please, spread the word. Check out that email in Snopes before blindly hitting that forward button. The rest of us non-gullible, sane, wise people are tired of that shit.
