I had the pleasure of being in NYC last month for BlogHer. I made a vacation out of it and stayed in the city for a week. One of my first stops was the 9/11 memorial. These pictures don’t do it justice. It is a hallowed place. The designers did a phenomenal job. The feelings invoked by being there are indescribable. We can never, ever forget.

One day, I would love to make it to New York, and a trip to the 9/11 memorial would be one of the first places I would visit.
